Autumn Makeup Tutorial
Hello everyone and welcome back to another blog post!
As I understand, some of my blog viewers may not watch my YouTube videos and often I upload makeup tutorials to that instead of my blog.
It would mean a lot of you could check out my youtube makeup videos but if you would like a bit of a taster I have done a special tutorial just for my blog!
So here it is! My Autumn makeup tutorial exclusively for my blog :)
So I started off with my base makeup, you can use whatever you normally use for this and whatever works for you. I then went in with rather a lot of bronzer to really contour my cheekbones, I continued this dramatic look with the Barry M highlighter cream stick.
Happy with the look of my cheekbones I moved on to my eye makeup, for this look I wanted to create a purple theme so of course, the eye makeup had to include some darker purples. Perfect for Autumn
I started with my eye lid primer. You can use whatever primer you want but I used my Rimmel Exaggerate UndercoverShadow Primer.
I then went in with the first colour, a shiny bright white with sparkles. All the shadows used in this tutorial were from the Makeup Revolution, Iconic Elements pallet.
I put this in the inner corner of my eye and dragged it just bellow to give my eyes a bright and awake look. This also helps as we are going to be using darker colours on the rest of the eye so it keeps the look not too dark.
I then went on to the lovely smoky dark purple and pooped this all the eye lid, I also put this up into the crease and smoked it out a little.
Taking a winged brush I also put this under my lower lash line.
I moved onto a charcoal colour next and put a faint amount just in the crease to really define it. I then blended it and that created the more smoky autumnal look.
I popped a little but if this under my lash line to tie the look in together.
I then moved onto putting some dark brown eye liner on my waterline. This is the cosmic brown from Avon.
After that I curled my lashes and applied rather a lot of mascara to make my eyes pop.
All that was left to do now was my eye brows. I set them in place using the seventeen clear mascara.
I then used the brown shadow from the same pallet to fill them in, making the outer edge darker than the rest to give a ombré smooth effect.
To finished the look off I popped on my Makeup Revolution Lipstick in the colour 100% vamp and I was done!
