Effortless beach waves in 10 easy steps!
Hello all!
As it is now summer and we have actually had some rather nice sunny days i decided it was about time to get out the sea salt spray and get those beach waves that we all love in the summer time.
As part of a series i am doing over on my YouTube channel i thought i would write a post on each video explaining how to do the look if you want to look back on some notes rather than watching the full video.
Here's a quick intro to what the series is about:
The series is about effortless hairstyles you can achieve in minutes that look like you spent longer than you did on them, the hairstyles are really simple and all very summery. They wont be in a row so there will be other videos in between on my channel but they will run over the next few weeks as we approach the proper summer holidays!
So with that in mind lets begin!
1.
Wash your hair with any shampoo or conditioner.
2.
Dry your hair with a towel but don't be too rough as you don't want to cause split ends.
3.
Get your sea salt spray (i use the tresseme sea salt spray) Spray this all over your damp hair.
4.
Blow dry your hair until it is 80% dry or until it feels slightly damp to the touch.
5.
Twist your hair away from your head and create a bun on the top of you head.
6.
Blow dry all of the hair concentrating on the bun until it feels dry to the touch.
7.
Carefully unwrap your hair as the bits that were on the inside of the bun will still be damp and you don't want to lose the waves.
8.
Carefully blow dry your hair but don't run your fingers through it as you'll lose the waves.
9.
Repeat until the desired amount of waves is met.
10.
Style with any accessories you want and your done!
Here is the link to the video as i show you in detail how to achieve the look:
