RIMMEL Sun Shimmer Self Tan Review

Hello everyone,

Has everyone in the UK enjoyed the heatwave? Good because it seemed to have gone where I am haha.

So we have over the past 3 days done our best to get a little tan let's say...naturally and well, if like me you also went in the sea a few times and forgot to re apply your sun cream you may have gotten a little burnt and not really tanned at all then fear not! It is time to whip out the fake tan!!

Before that though don't worry I only got burnt on my feet thankfully and a little along my shoulder but please be careful out in the sun, it hurts!

So without further or do I introduce to you my favourite self tanner!

It is the RIMMEL London Sun Shimmer self tan mousse and I have the colour light matte.

So let's start of with the basics:

The bottle is clear with instructions on how to tan perfectly.

The pump and bottle system work well so you don't get fake tan spraying everywhere.

Because it is a mousse, it means you don't get a slippery floor like you would with a spray tan.

The consistancy of the product is lovely. It feels very smooth on your skin and dries quickly and there is a noticable difference within seconds of applying the product so it's good if you want a slight tan straight away in those spontaneous trips out. 

Unlike  sprays I have tried it also Dosent go streaky if applied correctly with a tanning mitt, I wouldn't recommend using just your hands as I found out. Your hands will go incredibly darker than your body so remember to get a mitt when you buy the tan.

Most importantly it Dosent go orange! It even lasts through showers too which is brilliant and if often applied it can last weeks!

All in all I totally recommend this tan and it is my go to one for this summer!
