Lets Get Clear Skin!

Hello everyone and welcome back to another blog post!

In this blog post I am going to be talking about the products I use to keep my skin clear. Of course with times of the month for girls it isn't always easy to keep your skin clear but these skin care products help fight it!

1.

I wake up in the morning and the first thing I do is wash my face, did you know? Washing your face with cold water can wake you up more than coffee in the morning!

Your face can become oily overnight through sweating or from your pillow. I then use my Simple kind to skin facial toner, this adds vitamin c to my skin which is key in helping it stay healthy to fight against spot bacteria.

2.

I usually go straight to putting makeup on after this as I am usually rushed to get to college but on Tuesdays (my day off) and the weekends, there are a few more steps before I start putting makeup on my face.

I then move on to a light mask. Not a heavy one that stings my face like mad but a cooling one to awaken my skin. I opt for the Avon Planet Spa gel mask. This is the Revitalising harmony one. It truly feels divine on your skin, leaving it soft, smooth and silky!

I leave this on to dry for 10 minutes and wash off with warm water.

3.

I then go onto my Simple Kind To Skin refreshing facial wash gel. In the morning the most important thing to do is refresh your skin and make it feel uplifted for the day. You don't want to go in with heavy duty scrubs as your skin and you are probably not ready to have sand paper like textured beads scrubbed onto the surface of your poor face!

This wash is gentle on the skin and leaves it feeling refreshed and soft. It also have a minty scent that makes you feel more awake and refreshed to start the day.

It is now the evening so I need to prepare my skin for bed.

1.

I take my makeup off with the Garnier micellar cleansing water, the original one. I use a cotton wall pad to do this and I use several to make sure all my makeup is completely off of my face. It is excellent at removing all the makeup, no need for a separate eye makeup remover!

2.

It is then a case of deciding what things need to be put on my face. I have lots of different products but they will only work when I know what my skin needs and this can differ between each day. Sometimes I may need a heavy face mask to dry blemishes and put some colour back into my skin. Other days I may feel I need a scrub so it really depends. I do not overload my skin with every product under the sun because I found this irritated it and actually caused more spots!

Today I decided I wanted to use a scrub so I took my Amie naturally king deep pore exfoliating polish, this is a little more expensive but it does give great results and I highly recommend it. It is all natural so doesn't irritate my skin and it leaves it feeling smooth and cleansed. On the back of most products it will say how often to use them. For this one, it is a case of 2 times a week. This is why it is important to change up what products you use each day.

For a slightly lower price I also recommend the Simple spotless skin triple action face wash, This is great at fighting teen acne!

3.

I then move on to moisturising my skin. I pick between my visible clear oil free moisturiser and my Simple kind to skin protecting light moisturiser. I don't actually suffer from oily skin but I often find the Simple one leaves it feeling oily and that doesn't help spots so I mostly use the visibly clear one, however if I want to add lots of moisture to my skin I feel the Simple one can help better with that.

That is it! My daily skin care routine. I hope you enjoyed this blog post and I will see you in my next one, Byeee
